Sogolon Best is an experienced teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school math at progressive small private schools in San Francisco and Palo Alto. He has also taught at schools in Oakland, such as Head Royce, and has coached sports teams as well.

Sogolon is known for his ability to make math engaging for kids and is passionate about education.

He recently decided to become an operating partner in the Village Kids’ Club, bringing his wealth of experience and dedication to enhancing children's learning experiences at the club.

Zenze is one of our key advisors. She has first hand experience being a first grader at Ruby Bridges Elementary.

Rosie is one of our key advisors. She has first hand experience being a second grader at Franklin Elementary.
